Operations Manager at CWS Sweden AB

CWS Sweden is now looking for an Operations Manager who wants to take our production, logistics, and development to the next level.

Responsibilities

As Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for developing and driving our production facilities and logistics flows in Sweden. You will be part of the management team for Workwear Sweden and work closely with your colleagues to achieve our business goals.

Your task is to balance strategic planning with operational execution. You will be responsible for optimizing processes, ensuring the highest quality and safety, and driving a structured improvement process in accordance with our ISO standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Lead and coach site managers, transport leaders, and coordinators. You will develop the organization and promote a culture characterized by engagement and responsibility.
• Process Optimization & CI: Drive efficiency in the primary processes of the facilities and implement methods for continuous improvement.
• Result Responsibility: Responsible for budget, productivity goals, and cost tracking for the Swedish operations.
• Quality, Environment & Safety (QESH): Ensure that the operations comply with legislation and policies and drive work according to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
• Collaboration: Build strong cross-functional relationships with HR, IT, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service to optimize the entire supply chain. Collaborate internationally with colleagues in the North West region; Netherlands, Belgium, and Ireland.

As Operations Manager, you will report to the Regional Manager Operations Workwear North West. In your role, you will regularly be on-site at our various facilities, and we prefer that you live in the Stockholm area.

Qualifications

We are looking for a confident and driven leader with the ability to navigate a complex environment. You are analytical, results-oriented, and have a pedagogical flair that helps employees grow towards common goals.

We prefer that you have:

• At least five years of leadership experience in industry, logistics, or production, preferably with responsibility for multiple departments.
• Relevant academic education or equivalent competence acquired through experience.
• Good understanding of logistical processes, project management, HR, and finance.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with the Office suite and preferably business systems such as ABS and Salesforce.
• Experience with Lean or similar improvement methodologies is highly meritorious.
